IBH Link UA is a device with an internal firewall. This module is a small piece of equipment for mounting on a DIN rail with 4 Ethernet ports and 24V power supply.
The device is intended for data transmission via the PLC-PC channel from a programmable controller to a personal computer. Its principle of operation differs from the traditional method, which requires a CP communication module.
The device is manufactured with Siemens STEP7 software and TIA Portal, which makes it possible to do without any other special software. Based on this, the module is able to seamlessly integrate into the PLC.
Indicators are integrated using Ethernet. The attributes of these indicators are identified in the PLC project area. This makes it possible to access indicators and data.
Establishing contact with the S5 and S7 PLCs is via Ethernet. Other gateways can be used. The module has 3 Ethernet ports for machine level and 1 port for CS level. Among these two layers is the internal firewall. Configuration can be done using regular web browsers.
Information is transmitted based on TCP / IP protocols. The operator gets ample opportunities for remote maintenance of the device - using a router, VPN or with direct access to the network. For control, you need to use special software. There is also a binding to the IBH OPC server. Application programming is carried out via the HMI utility interface.
